Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between bust and chest?
Bust is across the fullest part of the chest (around the nipple line). Chest is just under the bust at the band. Both matter for blouse and bra fit.
Why are there four bust measurements?
Underbust = bra band. Full bust = top size. High bust = shoulder-line garments. Bust apex = bridal and bespoke. Most ready-to-wear needs only full bust.
Should I measure with or without a bra?
With your everyday bra on (non-padded, non-push-up). The bust measurement should reflect how you'll wear the garment.
How does bust size relate to top size?
1" bust over 33" = XS, 33–35" = S, 35–37" = M, 38–40" = L, 41–43" = XL. Brand variations apply.
