How to Make a Size Chart
Making a size chart for your clothing brand comes down to four steps: pick the measurements that matter for your category, build a clean column-and-row layout, brand it with your colors and logo, and download as PNG. Total time: 5 minutes if you have your specs, 30 minutes if you're starting from scratch. Free generator below handles steps 2–4.

Frequently asked questions
What measurements should a size chart include?
Depends on category. Tops: bust/chest, waist, hip, length, sleeve. Bottoms: waist, hip, inseam. Dresses: bust, waist, hip. Shoes: foot length, width letter. Always include both inches and cm if you ship internationally.
How many sizes should I list?
All your sizes in a single chart. Most apparel lines run XS through XXL (6 sizes). Plus-size lines extend to 30W. Kids' lines run 0M to 14Y. Don't split into multiple charts unless the cuts genuinely differ (e.g., regular vs plus).
Should the chart show body measurements or garment measurements?
Body measurements for ready-to-wear (most brands). Garment measurements (laid flat, e.g., chest width pit-to-pit) for vintage and made-to-measure. Be explicit about which one you're showing — mixing them causes returns.
How do I avoid duplicate-content penalties from Google?
Each size chart on each product page is fine — they're images, not text Google indexes for duplicate content. The page text around the chart matters more. Write unique product descriptions per SKU; the chart can repeat.
