How to Use Shopify Search & Discovery with Tailor Size Guide
Size as a filter. Pre-fill from saved size. Recommend alternates when OOS.
Setup
1. Enable Shopify Search & Discovery (free Shopify app).
2. Add Size as a filter on collection pages.
3. Tailor Size Guide reads logged-in customer's saved size + pre-fills the filter.
4. Browse results = only items in customer's size, in stock.
Out-of-Stock Recovery
When customer's size is OOS in a product, Tailor Size Guide recommends the nearest available size based on the size chart relationship — keeps the customer in the funnel instead of bouncing.
