What size for sparring?
16 oz is the standard sparring glove for adults. More padding = safer for both fighters. 18 oz for heavier sparring partners.
MMA glove weight vs boxing?
MMA gloves are 4-6 oz with open fingers for grappling. Cannot substitute for boxing — too little padding.
