Important: Pointe shoes are precision tools. Each brand makes shoes for different foot shapes (Greek, Egyptian, Roman, Square). Width also varies (X = narrow, M = medium, W = wide, XW = extra wide). Width and shape matter as much as length. Get fitted by a certified pointe shoe fitter before purchasing.

Can I order pointe shoes online?
Only if you've already been fitted in-person and know your exact brand, model, size, width, and shank strength. First-time pointe = professional fitting required.
When is a dancer ready for pointe?
After 2-4 years of consistent ballet training, age 11-13 minimum (foot bones still forming before then), with strong calves, ankles, core. A teacher or doctor must clear you. Premature pointe causes lasting injury.
