FAQs
Why do ballet shoes run small?
Tight fit transfers force through the foot to the floor. Loose shoes cause blisters and reduce control. Toes should be flat at the front when standing flat-footed.
Canvas, leather, or split-sole?
Canvas: cheaper, washable, lightweight. Leather: durable, lasts longer. Split-sole: better arch articulation. Full-sole: more support, recommended for beginners.
