Frequently asked questions
What measurements does a lingerie chart need?
Underbust (band), full bust (cup formula), waist, hip. Bodysuits also need torso length. Sports bras need impact level (low/medium/high) as a separate column or chart note.
How do US and UK cup sizes differ?
Identical up to D. From DD upward they diverge: US DDD = UK E, US G = UK FF, US H = UK G. Always note which system your chart uses.
Should I include sister sizes?
Yes — same cup volume, different band (34C = 32D = 36B). Add a "Sister sizes" column or footnote. It dramatically reduces "size unavailable" returns.
What about bridal and corset sizing?
Bridal lingerie runs 1 size smaller than ready-to-wear (matches bridal dress sizing convention). Generate a separate "Bridal" chart and label it explicitly.
