How Dr. Martens sizes its shoes
Dr. Martens works in UK sizes. The US men's size is the UK size + 1, and the US women's size is the UK size + 2, so a UK 7 is a US men's 8 or women's 9, for a foot of about 26 cm. EU sizes aren't a fixed step from UK: UK 6 is EU 39 but UK 7 is EU 41, with EU 40 sitting at UK 6.5.
