How HOKA sizes its shoes

HOKA lists a foot length in millimetres for every size, and it's separate from the Japanese size on the same chart, so compare your foot with the millimetre row. EU sizes are printed in thirds, such as 38 2/3. On the men's chart UK is the US size minus half a size, and on the women's chart UK is the US size minus 1.5.

One thing to know if you buy across men's and women's: on HOKA's charts the two are one US size apart by UK and EU number, not the 1.5 most brands use. By foot length, a men's 7 sits between a women's 8 and 8.5. Our recommender handles this by matching foot lengths rather than labels. Some HOKA models also come in wide versions.
