How New Balance sizes its shoes
New Balance's men's and unisex table and its women's table don't line up exactly: at the same women's size, the women's table gives a foot about half a centimetre longer, and the EU number can differ by half a size. So use the men's table for men's and unisex models and the women's table for women's models, which is what our chart and recommender do.
On the men's table, UK is the US size minus half a size; on the women's table, UK is the women's US size minus 2. Above size 14, sizes come in whole numbers only. New Balance is known for its widths: men's come in Narrow (B), Standard (D), Wide (2E) and Extra Wide (4E), and women's in Narrow (2A), Standard (B), Wide (D) and Extra Wide (2E).
